Luca Sportelli is a 28-year-old photographer based in Akron, Ohio, whose journey began in a small Italian village. At 17, he took a bold leap to the U.S. to pursue a dance scholarship at the San Francisco Ballet, where he honed his craft and launched a successful international dance career. Luca performed across the globe, embracing diverse cultures and artistic expressions.

A life-changing ACL injury during his time with the Nashville Ballet forced him to reevaluate his path and discover new passions. During an 11-month recovery, he found solace in photography, capturing the beauty of fleeting moments and the essence of human connection.
